When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved. Your help is needed! Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you.
⚽🏐🏈 Volunteer for Concessions – Support HMS Athletics!
The HMS PTO is excited to support our Athletics and Fine Arts Departments this school year through our concession stand—and we need your help to keep it running!
Volunteering is a great way to give back while directly boosting funding for the programs your student loves. Even just one shift makes a difference!

(Multiple days – combined sign-up due to shared home games
💡 How It Works:
- Each game night includes two shifts (e.g., JV/Varsity or 6th grade games)
- We need at least 2 adult volunteers per shift (4 per evening)
- Volunteers must be 18+ for safety reasons
- Detailed instructions will be emailed the day of your shift
⏰ If shifts remain open by noon on game day, the concession stand will be closed for that evening.
🏆 Where Do the Funds Go?
When you volunteer, you can indicate which program you’d like your time to support (e.g., Football, Girls Soccer, Volleyball). A portion of the proceeds will be allocated accordingly. If no program is indicated, the funds will go to the general PTO fund.
💰 Financial Notes:
- Funds are distributed after expenses and may not match donations dollar-for-dollar
- Final allocations will be made in June 2026 for accurate tracking and fairness across all programs
